Sanjay Kumar is the visionary behind SKM Global Media, the Thai-Indian Community, Thai-Indian Marketplace, Thai-Indian Business Network, Thai-Indian Yoga Association, and Thai-Indian Theatre Club. Renowned as a Communications Strategist and Media Engagements Specialist, he boasts over 25 years of experience in development communications and social marketing. His expertise spans mass media activities, international relations, social campaigns, brand management, and organizational development, making him a pivotal figure in South East Asia. With a global footprint, he has provided communication services to diverse professional bodies and social sectors worldwide.

In January 2018, Sanjay Kumar received accolades from H.E. Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Government of Singapore, and H.E. Smt. Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister, during ASEAN India Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Singapore, for his exceptional efforts in promoting India in South East Asia through social media campaigns.

In 2017, he conceptualized a logo commemorating 70 years of India-Thailand Friendship, which gained approval from both the Indian and Thai governments and was widely utilized in various activities throughout the year.

Based in Thailand since 2003, Sanjay Kumar currently serves as the PR and Communication Manager at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre. Concurrently, he pursues a Doctorate in Ethical Sufficiency Economy from Rangsit University, where he played a pioneering role in establishing the Gandhi Institute and served as Assistant Director from 2018 to 2023. He imparts knowledge in Psychology in Daily Lives to undergraduate students and conducts leadership training programs for academia and non-governmental organizations. Additionally, he offers consulting services to SMEs and NGOs across India and South East Asia.

From 2012 to 2019, Sanjay Kumar contributed significantly to the social profile of Saraff Global group through social events, media communications, and public relations activities. He actively supports numerous social and community organizations, including VHP Association Thailand, Indian Social Club of Thailand, Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation, IVF Thailand, World Hindu Economic Forum, and World Hindu Foundation. He has facilitated fundraising for the India Development Foundation of Overseas Indians and assisted operations of the India Thai Chamber of Commerce. Actively engaged in various activities organized by the Indian mission in Thailand, such as the International Day of Yoga and Festival of India in Thailand.

From 2008 to 2011, he provided communications support to USAID Clean Development and Climate Program, spanning projects in India, China, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Earlier, from 2003 to 2008, he served as a United Nations Consultant, delivering program results across various UN projects.

Sanjay Kumar holds a Master’s degree from Guru Jambheshwar University, Hisar, Haryana (2003) and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Kurukshetra University, Haryana (2001). Acknowledged for his proactive involvement in social activities, he has been honored with two national awards: the Indira Gandhi National Award in 2000 and the National Youth Award in 2002 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. He has successfully organized over 50 national integration and youth leadership camps in remote and tribal areas for community development in India and abroad.
